Key Speakers include: Rev Dr T.K.Nakagaki, Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, Ven. Sagarananda Tien, Grandmother Patrica Davis, Swamini Svatmavidyananda, Balabhadra Das, James Lynch, Guruji Dileepkumar, Swami Sarveshanada

This is an important event for millions of Buddhists, Hindus, Jains and Indigenous people who live in the US and Canada and thus is an important story for your viewers.

The event is being jointly organized by two Buddhist and two Hindu organizations - Heiwa Peace and Reconciliation Foundation of New York, Buddhist Council of New York, Coalition of Hindus of North America and United States Hindu Alliance

We live in a time of increased hate incidents against the Jewish as well as the Asian American communities. At the same time, thanks to efforts from CoHNA and various other organizations, a recent law passed by California referenced Hakenkreuz for the first time, but it was a half-fix, since it continues to associate the Swastika with Hitler’s symbol. Oregon is wrongly renaming the “Swastika Mountain” and media and academic portrayals continue to assume a connection of Swastika to Hitler. The Swastika Proclamation and the SAC are thus an important step in fixing the faulty understanding and narrative.
